JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A free exhibit celebrating the 40th anniversary of Amtrak will make a stop on the First Coast this weekend.

The train will make a stop in Jacksonville on its way to Tampa, where it will help Union Station celebrate 100 years of serving passengers.

The free exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days this weekend.  The display is designed to showcase Amtrak history over the decades.

Vintage advertising, past menus and dinnerware and period uniforms will show visitors what Amtrak riders would have experienced four decades ago.

Visitors will also be able to purchase commemorative 40th anniversary merchandise.  Items available for purchase include "The First 40 Years," a documentary DVD which includes rare photographs and video footage with past and present Amtrak leaders.

Information about each of the train's stops can be found by going to the official website for the Amtrak 40th Anniversary.
