JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A child porn suspect who told police he thought he'd be in jail for a few years may find his sentence a bit longer than expected.

According to United States Attorney Robert E. O'Neill, 25-year-old Zacchaeus Andrew Crawford, 25, entered a guilty plea to receiving child pornography over the internet.  He was arrested Aug. 19 in Jacksonville.

An FBI agent in Arizona signed into a file sharing program and tracked a user called "Slidenskate," who had shared directories containing child pornography.

The agent downloaded from two of Slidenskate's directories 168 image files and 16 video files, many of which depicted child pornography.

Further investigation revealed Slidenskate's host computer was in Jacksonville at Crawford's residence.

Federal agents searched his home and seized the computer.  They found on the computer at least 500 images and 100 videos depicting minors in sexually explicit conduct.

O'Neill said Crawford admitted downloading the images and said he had a feeling that he'd "be in jail for a few years."

The charge against Crawford carries a mandatory sentence of no less than five years in federal prison with the possibility of up to 20 years in prison and a life term of supervised release.
