JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One man is dead after a work-related accident off of Normandy Boulevard this morning.
OSHA acting area director Jeff Romeo said that one man was electrocuted at the scene. He had been on the ground man when he was killed. At least one other man was at the scene and had been operating a crane nearby.
OSHA has up to six months to investigate, and this one will likely take between two and six months, said Romeo.
OSHA arrived at the scene at 1:30 p.m.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was also responding to Normandy Boulevard at Bicentennial Drive, near the Equestrian Center.
