LAKE CITY, Fla. -- Deputies who thought they were responding to a call about a drunk person instead found him dead in a motel.
The call came in late this morning at the Cypress Inn on U.S. 90 near I-75.
The person in the room was found by a housekeeper at the motel.
According to the Lake City Police Department, there are no signs of foul play in the death of 26-year-old Adam Leighton Billups from Live Oak, but an autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death.
