JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The family of a 16-year-old Ed White student shot and killed on the Westside, has made final arrangements for her to be laid to rest and set up an account.

Tiphne Hollis, a 10th grader, was shot on Calvin Street, off Stockton March 20. She later died at the hospital.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 27, at 11 a.m. in All People Internationall Church, 1993 W. Edgewood Avenue. The viewing will be Friday, March 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. at West Friendship Baptist Church, 945 Carrie Street.

The family has set up a fund at Compass Bank under "Teen Tip," account number 25246.

Mad Dads also wants answers in Hollis' death. Members gathered in the neighborhood where the shooting took place to distribute flyers and urge people to come forward.

The organization is offering a $1,000 reward to the person that helps lead police to a suspect and conviction.

"We want people to think about if this was their family member. We know someone out there knows something about this senseless, cowardly act where people shoot at a car and don't know where they're shooting," said Donald Foy with Mad Dads.

Anyone who may have information on this shooting is asked to call First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS. You can remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward.
