Original Apple I computer sells for $374,500 at auction

Most of the time, computers lose their value as they age.

But not if the device is one of the first Apple computers ever sold.

Sotheby's started the bidding at $120,000 and an original Apple I went to the highest bidder for $374,500.

It's so valuable because there are only 50 Apple I computers in the world and only six are known to be in working condition.

The buyer's name was not released.
