NEW YORK (AP) - Wall Street's key averages edged higher by the closing bell in Tuesday trading. The Dow added 26 points, or 0.2 percent, to 12,128.
The S&P added 7 points to 12,286. The Nasdaq surged 18 points to 2,778.
Year-to-date, the Dow is down 0.7 percent, while the S&P is up 2.2 percent and the Nasdaq is ahead 6.6 percent.
