NEW YORK (AP) - Trading in the latest session on Wall Street was in keeping with a pattern that's been in place so far this year. Quiet, but positive.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 45 points, or 0.4 percent at 12,624. The S&P 500 index added 6 points, while the Nasdaq composite was up 19 points.
For the young year so far, the Dow has gained 3.3 percent, while the benchmark S&P is up 4.5 percent.
