JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A motorcyclist has died Tuesday after losing control near Interstate-95 and Edgewood Avenue, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
JSO said the motorcyclist was exiting the southbound lane of I-95 at Edgewood Avenue when the driver crossed the roadway, lost control and crashed along the shoulder.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. No one else was hurt.
The crash shut down the southbound lane all the way to Bunker Hill. It remained closed around 11 p.m.
