Jaguars alone at the top of the AFC South after Titans' loss on Thursday Night Football

The Jaguars won on Thursday night without even playing a game.

The Jaguars own sole possession of the AFC South division lead following the Tennessee Titans' 40-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football.

Jacksonville is 6-3 entering their Week 11 matchup with the Cleveland Browns. The game will take place Sunday at 1 p.m. in Cleveland.

With the Titans (6-4) losing earlier in the week, the Jaguars now own a half-game lead over Tennessee. Jacksonville can move a full game ahead of the Titans with a win against the Browns.

The Titans own the head-to-head tie-breaker against the Jaguars due to a Week 2 win in Jacksonville. If the two teams have the same record leading into Week 17's rematch in Tennessee, the Jaguars will need to beat the Titans to win the division. A tie or loss would hand the division to Tennessee in that scenario.

On the flip side, the Steelers moved to 8-2 on the season. Pittsburgh currently has a 1.5-game lead over the Jaguars for the No. 2 seed - and a first-round bye - but Jacksonville owns the tie-breaker in head-to-head contests. The Jaguars beat the Steelers, 30-9, in Week 5.

The Jaguars currently own the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
