MIAMI (AP) - Top Miami Marlins prospect Andrew Heaney has been called up to join their rotation, and the team has added three other young players to the roster.

Heaney's contract was selected Monday from Triple-A New Orleans, where he went 3-0 with a 2.74 ERA in four starts. He began the season with the Jacksonville Suns.

The Marlins also recalled right-hander Anthony DeSclafani, outfielder Jake Marisnick and first baseman Justin Bour from Triple-A New Orleans. Left fielder Christian Yelich was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained lower back.

Veteran pitchers Randy Wolf and Kevin Slowey were designated for assignment. Miami optioned infielder Donovan Solano to Triple-A New Orleans, and catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia was transferred to the 15-day disabled list while he recovers from a concussion.
