Richard Spencer's check bounced before rally

UF released emails on Wednesday between them and the national policy institute that revealed Richard Spencer’s 10,000 check bounced ahead of his speech on campus.

According to school officials, the money was wired a few days later. Our Janny Rodriguez asked Spencer on Twitter why the checked bounced and he replied saying quote: “Management error on our part due to tons of expenses. I wired the money immediately when I recognized what went wrong. Florida was paid in full. They obviously wouldn’t have lent the facility otherwise.”

We also asked students what they thought about the incident and they told me they’re not surprised and Spencer was never welcomed on their campus.

University officials also made it very clear today that the national policy institute does not owe the university any money.
