NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for a 15-year-old boy and his 53-year-old grandmother, who have been missing for several days.
Logan Mott, 15, is an insulin-dependent student at Sandalwood High School, and his grandmother, 53-year-old Kristina French, are both currently missing. Mott's mother told First Coast News her son hadn't been in school since Friday.
They may be in a silver Dodge Dart with four doors and Florida license plate No. DLLT42.
They were believed to be last seen in the 400 block of Seagate Avenue. The home belongs to Mott's father, Eric Mott, a corrections officer employed by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. According to Logan's mother, Carrie Campbell-Mott, Logan's father texted her Wednesday, saying that their home had been ransacked and the guns in the home taken.
Campbell-Mott said Logan and his grandmother were supposed to pick up the father and his girlfriend from the airport Wednesday, but they did not. The father tried calling both of them several times with no answer.

Logan Mott is a 9th grader at Sandalwood High School and is insulin-dependent. It's unclear when he last had insulin.
Logan's mother said Logan's father is a corrections officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. On Friday, Logan's mother posted an emotional message to her missing son:
" Logan we love you. No matter what. No matter what has happened we will always love you. We are here. We will always stand by your side. We will always be looking. No matter what. All of us. Your dad, your cousins, your aunts, uncle, grandma, grandpa, friends. We will never stop. Logan Mott you are good and kind and extraordinary and we all miss you so much."
