The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is looking to hire more than 200 officers and more than 150 corrections officers.
JSO announced the job updates on Facebook, stating that the agency is hiring certified officers who meet a slew of qualifications.
Those qualifications are listed below:
JSO’s recruiting office said during training in the academy, an officer makes $38,592, with training lasting nine months and then the to-be officer is required to complete three months of in-field training.
After all the training is complete, an officer’s salary increases to $41,000.
