UNF Solar Eclipse Party - Fun for all ages from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.! If you're a UNF student you can use your student ID to get in for free, if not there will be a $2 fee to park. There will be students and professors there to explain the cosmos and also shaved ice!

Main Branch of the Public Library - Begins at 11 a.m. but there are festivities all day including a story time and a discussion exploring the science behind the eclipse. The actual viewing begins at 2 p.m.

Solar Eclipse Viewing Party at the Timucuan Park - It begins at 1 p.m. and there will be limited numbers of tools to safely view the eclipse.

Jacksonville Zoo- You can help document zoo animal behavior during an eclipse! Join Jaz Zoo for the partial eclipse Monday, August 21. The show starts at 1:16pm and reaches its maximum coverage at 2:47pm. They will not be handing out eclipse glasses.

Lemon Bar- First 300 people will receive free solar eclipse viewing glasses. Live music with TAD JENNINGS starting at 1:30 p.m. All guests must be 21+ with a valid ID.

St. Johns

Experience the Solar Eclipse at Fort Matanzas - It's free, kid friendly and starts at 1 p.m.!

Solar Eclipse show at Bartram Trail Branch Library - Free and starts at 1 p.m.!

Solar Eclipse Party: Eclipse Live Stream and Learning Lab at Ponte Vedra Branch Library - Begins at 10:30 a.m.!

Southeast Branch of the Public Library - Beings at 2 p.m.!

Solar Eclipse viewing at Collier-Blocker-Puryear Park - Begins at 1 p.m. and is free. Eclipse viewing glasses will be provided!

Total Eclipse Party at St. Johns River State College Library - Begins at 12 p.m.

Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library - Certified Solar Eclipse Glasses, generously purchased by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, will be available one set of glasses per person during our Total Solar Eclipse Party on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm while supplies last. To get the glasses, do not come to the front desks but instead please enter the FOL Community Room hallway no earlier than 10:30 am (when the doors to the hallway will open) to come back to the FOL Community Room to receive a set of glasses – one set of glasses per person – and then either exit through the side door in the FOL Community Room hallway by the South parking lot or better still, join us for the Eclipse Live Stream and other activities during the Party!
