NASHVILLE, TN (AP) -- Tim McGraw is out with a children's book called "My Little Girl." It tells the story of a father, in a dark cowboy hat, who spends a fun day with his daughter, stopping by a farm co-op, gazing up at the clouds and playing on a tire swing.
McGraw says his three daughters are not always interested in doing things he wants to do, like going to the farm to "shoot guns or ride four-wheelers in the mud when it's 40 degrees."
So, instead, he has found that his three daughters like coming along while he does simple, everyday stuff, like going to the grocery store or stopping by the office. He says "it makes all the difference in the world" for dads just to spend time with their daughters.
"My Little Girl" hits stores today.
