(USA Today) -- What does New York City taste like?
OK, so that's an easy setup for a bad joke (exhaust, pee and dirty money!). But Ben & Jerry's hopes to focus on the city's sweeter side with a new limited-edition ice cream flavor.
The company's "City Churned" project will create original flavors for New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington and Portland, Ore. The ingredients will be determined by citizens' and online users' votes and then offered in corresponding cities for one day only.
Many local brands have partnered with B&J's for this, like Sixpoint Brewery (New York), Portland Roasting Coffee and Route 11 potato chips (Washington). These elements should make for some interesting creations ...
