Roger Ebert has been hospitalized with a hip fracture, but the famed
Chicago movie critic's wife says he's doing OK and joked on Twitter that
the fracture was caused by "tricky disco dance moves."
His wife,
Chaz Ebert, said on Thursday that her husband was doing much better and
"doctors are making assessments" about when he could leave the hospital,
reports the AP.
She
took to Twitter to spread the word that her Pulitzer Prize-winning
husband was doing well and "asking for computer, will probably tweet."
Roger Ebert, who loves to tweet and does so often, last posted Tuesday
afternoon.
Ebert, 70, has had health problems over the past
several years, including a battle with cancer in his thyroid and
salivary glands that caused him to lose his ability to speak and eat .
