Halle Berry's ex, Gabriel Aubry arrested, hospitalized

Tensions always seem to run high on the holidays. And it's no different for stars.

Model Gabriel Aubry - Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend and father of her daughter Nahla - was arrested and hospitalized in Los Angeles after a Thanksgiving Day fight with Berry's fiance, Olivier Martinez.

According to TMZ, KABC and other reports, Aubry arrived at Berry's house to drop off their daughter, 4, when Aubry and Martinez got into a disagreement that turned physical.

Aubry suffered fractured ribs and bruises to his face. He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Martinez, 46, injured his hand and neck, reports KABC. He went to the same emergency room an hour later, reports TMZ.

Berry and Aubry have been in a bitter custody battle over Nahla. A judge recently ruled that Berry could not move to France permanently with her child.

Aubry has been booked for misdemeanor battery, police said, with bail set at $20,000.

After news of the confrontation, a judge issued an emergency protective order against Aubry to protect Berry, Nahla and Martinez. Aubry was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from them. The order will be valid until Dec. 3.
