Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart smile, joke, laugh

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart seem to be putting that pesky scandal behind them.

The Twilight stars managed to smile and joke in Thursday interviews for Breaking Dawn, Part 2, whether talking about sex scenes or those creepy Halloween masks they caught wearing earlier in the week.

"Oh yeah, I look awesome," Stewart said sarcastically to MTV about the Halloween photo of her wearing a short pink wig and sunglasses. Pattinson was wearing an eerie clear mask with huge eyebrows painted on it (and so was Kristen at one point). "That's not fair," said Stewart. "That's actually a really weird [photo]."

"That's not me!" Pattinson exclaimed with fake outrage, before lapsing into laughter. He explained it was a random pick for a costume. "I chose someone who is just genuinely terrifying. It was a $3 mask from a 7-Eleven."

The two also talked about the Twilight story's conclusion comes the culmination of characters Edward and Bella's physical relationship and what kind of sexy vampire-on-vampire action we'll see.

"I'm going to let him take this one," Stewart said, throwing it to Pattinson. "I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know, but I imagine it's quite like the scene where they're doing pottery in Ghost, he teased.

At a press conference Thursday, Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner reminisced about the early Twilight days. When asked what advice they would give their younger selves, Lautner said he'd remind himself to really soak in the whole experience. And Pattinson? "Start drinking vodka instead of beer," he joked. "And try to get a six-pack as early as possible and you'll be a much more successful actor."
