The musician, rocker and mom -- and "in-your-face cool girl" -- joins the current roster of CoverGirls including Sofia Vergara, Queen Latifah, Drew Barrymore, EllenDeGeneres and Taylor Swift.

The news was announced today at a news conference in Santa Monica, along with the news that Pink's latest album, The Truth About Love, will be out on Sept. 18.

Look for a print advertising campaign to debut in the fall, featuring Pink daring women to take more beauty chances.
