JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A beautiful but hot couple of days are on tap for the First Coast this Saturday and Sunday. Here is a list of events to get you out in the sun for a fun-filled family weekend.

SATURDAY JUNE 30, 2012

HEAD TO THE BEACHES: The sun is finally shining and it's pre-July 4th weekend, so get out to the beach and do some early barbecuing in true summer style. The beaches are expected to be packed this weekend so get there early to find a good parking spot. And with near record heat, be sure and stay hydrated!

JACKSONVILLE FARMERS MARKET: Open every day of the year, dawn to dusk, save up to 70+% or more on Northeast Florida's largest fresh selection of local, ethnic, and specialty produce, agricultural and other food products. It's free to attend. The farmer's market runs this Saturday from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m.

CELEBRATE AMERICA RIDE FOR JUSTICE: The Celebrate America Ride for Justice will take place on June 30 to benefit the Justice Coalition. The ride will begin and end at Adamec Harley-Davidson at 8909 Baymeadows Road at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Jacksonville Sheriff John Rutherford will lead participants on a 50-mile scenic route. At the end, participants will be served hot dogs, hamburgers and apple pie. Tickets are $30 for riders and $15 for passengers and are available at any Adamec Harley-Davidson location or at www.justicecoalition.org.

92 AT THE ZOO: From June 18 through August 31, 2012, when the temperature is predicted to be higher than 92 degrees, guests can enjoy half-off general admission with a coupon from the Zoo's official website at jacksonvillezoo.org. The discount applies this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that this offer is not valid on Wednesday, July 4 or Saturday, July 21.

JACKSONVILLE BEADS & JEWELRY SHOW: Check out the beads and jewelry show Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 a.m. at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. RIVERSIDE ARTS MARKET: The Riverside Arts Market is every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. off Riverside Avenue underneath the Fuller Warren Bridge. It features crafts, art, live entertainment and more!

REFOCUS: ART OF THE 1970s: Head to MOCA Jacksonville downtown Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To view the REFOCUS exhibit featuring art of the 1970s. MOCA will examine the "Me Decade" that gave rise to Photorealism, Earthworks, and Conceptual Art and expanded the boundaries of Video, Performance and Installation Art.

SWEET PETE'S GUMMY CLASSES: Participate in a taste test of gummis made from 3 different types of gelling agents. Learn to make gummis using candy molds and starch molding. Make all kinds of shapes! Choose your flavor and color. Take home lots of gummis and enjoy ice cream. Fun for all ages and very hands on! There are classes between 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

SNEAKER/CLOTHING TRADE SHOW EVENT: Sneaker Trade Show will have their premier event at the UNF University Center, where attendees can buy, sell, or trade their clothes and sneakers. 20 vendors will be present along with a DJ. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

WOMEN'S NINE & WINE: Close out Women's Golf Month at the King & Bear. Each attendee will receive a complimentary King & Bear wine glass and a $10 Merchandise Gift Card! Registration starts at 1 p.m. Saturday with a golf clinic at 2 p.m. at King & Bear Golf Course in St. Augustine. 9 holes will be played at 3 p.m. followed by a wine tasting. It's $75 to participate.

LITTLE LINKSTERS "TOUR" EVENT #2- WORLD GOLF VILLAGE: The fun starts Saturday at 1 p.m. At World Golf Village in St. Augustine. At 1:30 p.m., there will be a parent/child putting championship, followed by boxed lunches at 3:30 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., there will be tournaments for different age groups - Kids 3-4 (3 Holes), Kids 5-6 (6 Holes), Kids 7-8 (9 Holes). Awards will be given out at 6:30 p.m. at Legends Grill. Free Tickets to the World Golf Hall of Fame are included in the play price, which is $80. WEEKEND AFTERNOON ICE SKATING: On Saturday & Sunday afternoon, ice skating sessions will be held at Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex. $9 admission plus $3 for skate rentals. It's from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

CLUB TEEN ICE SKATING: Saturday Night Club Teen Ice Skating at Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex will start at 7 p.m. $10 entry. Ages 13 - 19. Snack Shack 1/2 price 7:00pm - 7:30pm. Doors open at 7 p.m.. Live DJ, give-aways, video/arcade games, cosmic lighting, music videos, NHL sized ice surface. Everyone pays $10 entry fee.

SOMETHIN'S GOTTA GIVE AT THE RITZ THEATRE: The stage play "Somethin's Gotta Give" is inspired by the book, The Blaze of Consumption: A Rise from the Ashes. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $20.

ST. AUGUSTINE MUSIC FESTIVAL: Catch the music festival at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The festival presents: Mozart: Duo for Violin and Viola no 2 in B flat major, K 424; Mozart: Concerto for Violin no 1 in B flat major, K 207

LIVE MUSIC AT THE JACKSONVILLE LANDING: Jay Garrett performs live in the Jacksonville Landing courtyard starting at 8 p.m. Saturday.

MAD COWFORD LONG FORM IMPROV: Mad Cowford, Jacksonville's home for innovative, interactive comedy, serves the North Florida area with weekly performances in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. Saturday's performance starts at 8:15 p.m. at Northstar Substation.

STAND UP PADDLE BEACH DEMO DAY WITH BLACK CREEK OUTFITTERS: Join Black Creek Outfitters and the Stand Up Paddle Jacksonville Meetup group for a day of trying out SUP boards at the beach Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon at the beach off 16th south. This is a free open event, so just show up, sign a waver, and your free try try out one of Black Creek's SUP boards in the ocean. A few tips and tricks will be offered by our instructors to help you feel comfortable in the surf and the ocean.

SUMMER MOVIE CLASSICS: "GUYS AND DOLLS": View the 1955 color film "Guys and Dolls" at the Florida Theatre Sunday at 2 p.m. It's $7.50 per ticket.

INDEPENDENCE OPEN AT SLAMMER & SQUIRE GOLF COURSE: This is a 2-person scramble tournament that will include two closest to the pin, a longest drive, and a longest putt contests. Nike Representatives will be on the driving range to fit you with a Classic Feel Golf Glove and to test drive the Nike VRS Hybrids. It all starts at 2 p.m. and costs $99 for the general public.

FC JAX DESTROYERS DOUBLE HEADER: MEN VS. PANAMA CITY PIRATES: Come out to Jacksonville University on Sunday to support the Men and Women FC Jax Destroyers soccer teams! The men will be playing first at 4:30pm vs. the Panama City Pirates, and the women will follow playing at 7:00pm vs. the VSI Tampa Flames. One ticket will be good for both games.

FAMILY FREEDOM BLAST: Bring the family out for a fun festival and fireworks show from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Christ's Church in Mandarin. All are welcome to attend. Tickets are $2 in advance or $4 at the gate. Military (with ID) get in free. All ticket proceeds support local and global initiatives serving people in need.

JACKSONVILLE SUNS VS. PENSACOLA: the Jacksonville Suns take on Pensacola at the baseball grounds downtown Sunday at 6:05 p.m.
