'Walking Dead' texting images from Zlango.
The day I discovered iEmoji, my text messages instantly became more interesting. Suddenly, I wasn't limited to words; I could text a seemingly infinite number of faces, animals, symbols and other icons.
Of course, iEmoji got old after a few weeks, and my texts became boring again. But the trend of texting images hasn't died -- in fact, you might say texts have become undead.
A company called Zlango has come up with a creative way to add spice to texting: by joining forces with recognizable brands. For instance, if you download the Zlango app to your Android phone or Blackberry, you can get access to texting icons from The Walking Dead and Terminator 2.
Zlango will soon be available for the iPhone and plans to announce other pop-culture partnerships. In the meantime, try not to scare your mother with your next text.
