Jeff Prosser joined First Coast News in February 1995 as sports producer/reporter after 3 years in the same role at the ABC affiliate, WJKS, in Jacksonville. Jeff was promoted to weekend sports anchor at First Coast News in July 1998. Jeff co-hosts First Coast News Sports Final Sundays at 11:20pm on ABC25 and NBC12.

Jeff graduated from the University of Florida with a telecommunications degree. While a student there, he anchored drive-time sports on WRJF AM/FM, served as a sports talk-show host, did play-by-play for Gator baseball, basketball, and football games. The Florida Sportscasters Association honored Jeff for "Best Student Sportscast."

After graduation he was promoted to assistant sports director. When not at work, Jeff always keeps an eye on the sports world and still loves to lace it up and play hoops, softball, tennis or jog. However, his favorite recreational activity is golf. Jeff is married to Stacie and has 3 children, including twin sons, Jimmy and Michael, and a daughter, Sarah.
