Patricia Crosby co-anchors & helps produce the #1 morning newscasts Good Morning Jacksonville and Good Morning Jacksonville Sunrise. Since August 2000, Patricia has taken on extra morning show duties that include: setting up special segments, interviews, live shots, reporting and overseeing morning planning meetings. Prior to this, Patricia anchored the growing noon newscast First Coast News at noon.
She joined First Coast News in the fall of 1995, and in that time, has covered various major news events in the field like the JFK Jr. wedding, the fires of 98, hurricane Floyd and the election ballot controversy in Florida.
In her 13 years of broadcast news experience, Patricia has won a national SPJ award for reporting, and several awards from the community for reporting as well. Prior to First Coast News, Patricia anchored the 6 & 11 newscasts in Augusta, Georgia for WJBF-TV and was named most popular anchor three years in a row. Community involvement included: Guardien Ad Litem, Augusta Child Advocacy Center, Casa, Humane society, anti-drug programs and former President of Society of Professional Journalists.
Patricia is a graduate of the journalism school at the University of Georgia and has a degree in broadcast news. Patricia is married and has two little boys.
