"Cush" has been working at First Coast News since May of 2002. As a photojournalist in the sports department, Chad can usually be found covering events at local high schools, colleges, or Jaguars games, but he can also be seen in front of the camera on Sundays during Sports Final as part of the “Cush Cam” segments in which he usually has some sort of feature story.

After spending the first five years of his life in New Jersey, Chad has been calling Jacksonville his home ever since. He is a proud graduate of Middleburg High School where he played on the Broncos football team and ran track as well.

Chad's college years were spent in Tallahassee at Florida State University, so he always enjoys going back there to cover Seminole athletics, but also does his best to remain unbiased towards the Gators and Canes.

When he’s not at work, Chad enjoys going for a long jog, playing with his dog, Coors, and relaxing on the couch with his feet on the table and the remote in hand.
