I'm a meteorologist and reporter for First Coast News, I started right after Christmas 2010.
You'll probably see me most on the 7:00 and 11:00 newscasts, but sometimes I'll show up uninvited to GMJ and the evening news.
I've received many awards and accolades, though none of them have been for journalism/weather.
My most notable recognition came from my 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Peck, when she'd let me be in charge of class while she took a smoke break.
I'm getting married in April to Annie, she's almost as crazy about the beach as I am (our first date was on the beach) so we're going to be a couple of larks here in JAX.
I'm from South Carolina, went to college at University of South Carolina and studied meteorology at Mississippi State.
