JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Students of Florida State College at Jacksonville got a sense of what it feels like to drive distracted with a simulated program.
The Kent campus featured the Arrive Alive" campaign which is a program that emphasizes the importance of safe driving.
It's a driving simulation that covers the students eyes as they attempt to drive a fake course. The goggles blur vision and help students see the consequences and dangers of driving distracted or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The campaign also recently made a stop at Bolles High School.
