Pam Turney, RN with Memorial Hospital has two tips to help you when eating out and when battling the urge to snack.

1.  Dining out at a restaurant: when your meal comes out immediately ask the wait staff to bring you a to go box and put 2/3's of the meal in the box and place to the side.  Eat the remaining 1/3 of your meal. If having the to go box still on the table and that creates too much of a temptation then have the wait staff remove the box entirely. This also elevates overeating.

2.   Identify your most vulnerable times for snacking and plan a defense before temptation strikes.

This week the quotes and phrases will help inspire you to stay motivated to accomplish your weight loss goals.
