Starting Weight:  223.6 lbs

Current Weight:  204.6 lbs

Wife/Mother

About Rachel:  Rachel has been married for nearly 10 years, and has two children.  She has struggled with her weight for as long as she can remember--and has tried every diet out there.  While she has had some success, she has been unable to maintain the weight loss.  Rachel wants to break through the vicious "yo-yo" cycle of dieting and truly make a lifestyle change.  Rachel hopes that others with the same experience will join her in the journey--and make the change for themselves, their families, and their future!

Sentinel Moment:  We started a new family tradition about three Christmases ago--before we put away our stockings, we write a little note to ourselves about where we are in our lives and where we want to be the following year.  For the past three years my note has been about losing weight--and every year I have been the same weight or worse!  I pray that this will be my year, that come this December, I will experience the joy of success!!!

You'll most likely see Rachel:  Don't laugh, but...at the thrift store.

Weekend Activities:  Rachel loves to just hang out with friends and family.

Favorite Sports Teams:  The Jacksonville Jaguars

If I'm Watching a Movie or Listening to Music, it's probably:  For movies: a romantic comedy...for music:  88.1 The Promise, or 96.1 WEJZ--love Delilah!

I am passionate about:  My faith in Jesus Christ, and helping others.
