About Shawn: Shawn is the Pastor of Calvary Church, and is currently trying to get healthy so he can continue to be there for his family--and not cut his earthly years of ministry short.
Sentinel Moment: When a good friend died suddenly of a massive heart attack at age 39. I preached at his funeral. I looked at his 6 year-old son and 4 year-old daughter in the front row. Pete would never have wanted to leave them fatherless at such a young age. But he did. He got very heavy and it killed him. I know that if I don't do something about my weight, then I will do the same thing to my family. I won't let that happen.
You'll most likely see Shawn: at Starbucks on Atlantic & Hodges, The Town Center, or at the beach.
Weekend Activities: Preaching at his church, watching football, and now, of course, exercising!
Favorite Sports Teams: The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Cincinnati Reds.
If I'm Watching a Movie or Listening to Music, it's probably: "It's a Wonderful Life" (movie), Sports Final Radio, or Talk Radio.
