About Sherri: Sherri was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and is busy being a wife to her husband Tim, and mother to three children and three step-children. In her spare time, she is a student at FCCJ, seeking a degree in social work! Sherri enjoys traveling and learning new things--loves a challenge, and tries to excel in all she does.
Sentinel Moment: "When I found out there was a possibility my 12 year old son (who is also overweight) could have diabetes--I realized I need to do something to help him and myself!" Also, when going out with her husband, she has trouble finding anything to wear--nothing fits! That's been an eye-opener.
You'll most likely see Sherri: These days, you'll find me at the FCCJ Downtown campus.
Weekend Activities: Sherri likes to relax and just hang out around the house. Finances permitting, she loves to take road trips with the family for a weekend.
Favorite Sports Teams: Jaguars!!!
If I'm Watching a Movie or Listening to Music, it's probably: Some type of drama or tear-jerker. I mostly listen to R & B music--but I really enjoy "old school" music, and also reggae.
I am passionate about: Striving to raise my children right and constantly building up my relationship with Christ.
