About David: I work for an energy trading company downtown.  I love what I do and have very supportive friends/co-workers.  A couple of them were jumping around more than I was when I found out I was selected for this life changing journey.  I have struggled with my weight since my late 20's.  Over the last 3 years, I have added at least 50 pounds to an oversized body.  I often decline to go to the beach because I am too ashamed of my appearance and do not want to take my shirt off.  I can't run and play with my son due to my weight.  Although he loves me just the same, I can see the disappointment all over his face when I tell him, "Daddy is too tired," or "Daddy doesn't feel good."  The truth is that I can't do it without being in pain the next day and I feel like a horrible father for making him suffer.  I desperately need to lose a lot of weight and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I MUST take advantage of.

Sentinel Moment: The biggest moment for me was looking my wife in the eyes and telling her we can't go to Universal Studios for our anniversary because I am unable to fit on the rides.

You'll most likely see David: At Bailey's Powerhouse Gym

Weekend Activities: Spend time with my wife & son.  I also love to just relax and unwind from the work week.

Favorite Sports Teams: I am a Tennessee Volunteer through and through.  I have also been an Indianapolis Colts fan since 1985.

If I'm Watching a Movie or Listening to Music, it's probably: Comedies, horror, or action films; music: I generally listen to everything but my favorite is 80's and 90's music from rock to rap.

I am passionate about:  My family.
