Although Corey Moore is new to Jacksonville, he is not fresh on the scene in the fitness industry. From working at some nationally renowned health clubs in New York and Illinois, Corey has traveled south to work for Bailey's Powerhouse Gym at their Mandarin location.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Corey has been active since a very young age playing various sports, but basketball is his first love. After a life long affiliation with sports, it was only fitting that Corey took his passion for physical fitness and made it his career. While attending Western Michigan University, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, while earning a double minor in Psychology and Biomedical Sciences. Two years later, he earned his M.S. in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance from the same university, only to complete yet another masters program in Nutrition and Physical Performance at Saint Louis University.

Corey's education has led him into many different avenues with client cultivation. Corey prides himself in conducting the proper fitness assessments and program development to coordinate with his client's goals. He is a BOSU master trainer and has specialized training to design programs for sports specific training (golf, tennis, football, basketball, etc.), post-rehabilitation for knee injuries, senior fitness, special populations, and individuals plagued by lower back problems.

After a day of physical effort in the gym, Corey's favorite hobby to exercise his mind is the game of Chess. He also loves to play tennis and enjoys traveling across the nation to expand his horizons and meet new and different people.

Taking clients from all backgrounds and maximizing their potential is what gives Corey the fulfillment that compels him to continue broadening his education and seeking out new challenges for the human body.
