Stacy’s been a working mom, part-time working mom and stay at home mom and is a strong advocate for supporting women as they find the work/family balance that works for them.
“We can be so mean and judgmental”, Stacy says, “You can have it all, just not at the same time. Find what works for you and your family at this stage of life, and ignore all the negativity!”
Stacy’s spent 11 years anchoring and reporting in newsrooms around the Southeast. She’s spent the rest of her career working independently on camera and behind the scenes as a writer/producer.
Stacy loves to sing, can’t resist a fabulous shoe, loves to read and loves all things pink. She’s a proud member of the 40 plus club and says the best thing about aging is gaining more confidence and being comfortable with yourself- thus her decision to stop straightening her hair and go with the big hair that naturally grows out of her head! Her motto: Be happy with who you are!
Stacy’s faith, family, and friends are the driving forces in her life. She is very active in her church and in her kid’s schools. She counts her greatest job as one of being a mom to her two teenaged kids. She’ll soon celebrate 20 years with her husband.
Best thing about life on the First Coast: the city’s vibe. I love the fact that Jax still feels very Southern, but also has an international flair. I’m from Tennessee, so I have a love/hate relationship with the South and The First Coast gives me all the things I love about the region and less of the things that I could do without!
