Maria Chrissovergis’ journey has landed her exactly where she wants to be. She has worked for NBC, ABC and CBS affiliates as a news anchor and reporter and covered stories across the country. As network affiliates strengthened their resources through newspaper partnerships, Maria quickly found herself writing for local papers after her evening live shots or time spent at the anchor desk.
From covering George W. Bush on 9/11 to award winning investigative reports, Maria’s passion for writing is what fueled her love for the television news industry. She left her TV news job during the rising boom of the housing market for a Sales and Marketing Director position for both local and national home builders. Maria has also worked as a Magazine Publisher for one of the Nation’s most recognized publishing companies of enthusiast magazines. Maria’s time spent in the newsroom coupled with her time pushing the sales and marketing envelope have given Maria an advantage over her competitors. She clearly has a working knowledge of every side of the public relations and multi-media industries.
Maria Chrissovergis recently returned to her TV roots while also leading the agency team. She is a host of the daytime talk show “The Chat” and Magazine Show “First Coast Living” both on First Coast News WTLV NBC 12 and WJXX ABC 25.

As the public relations and marketing lead of the HGTV Smart Home 2013, HGTV executives complimented the agency on its creative and successful approach to marketing the house; the media tour was one of the network’s highest attended media events of a showcase home. Maria was also recognized in Family! Magazine as a top female entrepreneur.
Maria is a former member of the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women in Jacksonville, Faculty Member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative and the North Florida Urban Land Institute, an honoree for the Cystic Fibrosis Annual Fundraiser, a recipient of the National Education Association “Quill Pen” award and has emceed events across the state of Florida for various organizations and fundraising events.
