JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Students at Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology teamed up with the Jacksonville automobile dealers association and other sponsors for the Gateway to Florida car, truck and motorcycle show Saturday.
A lot of the shows around Jacksonville are heavily represented by American cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s. While there were plenty of American muscle cars on display, there was also a strong representation of customized SUVs, trucks and Japanese cars at Saturday's show on the Westside.
Among them was Dion Tanner's 1983 Ford Bronco, which blasted Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight from the SUV's custom sound system, delighting the crowd.
