ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- The Azalea City Cruisers teamed up with Moosehaven City of Contentment and Adamec Harley-Davidson to put on a Saturday community breakfast and car show in Orange Park.
The show was free to the public with proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. For show goers, part of the fun is learning a little history.
The second photo in the slideshow at the top of the page is of a 1964 Oldsmobile Jet Star 88 that Ron Robbs bought two years ago. The previous owners restored it, changing the color from red to a custom teal pearl. Oldsmobile built the Jetstar 88 from 1964 to 1966; offering it in a convertible, four-door and coupe.
It was powered by Oldsmobile's 330 cubic-inch Rocket V8 and had a two-speed automatic transmission called the Jetaway. Across town at Tinseltown, automotiveaddicts.com held its monthly Cars and Coffee cruise-in at Wild Wing Cafe.
May's gathering brought out a fun mix of new, old domestic and foreign cars.
