JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A cool week is in store for us with plentiful sunshine, but make sure to take care of the 3 P's - pets, people, and plants in the coming mornings!

A Frost Advisory has been issued for areas west of the St. Johns River on Tuesday morning. Make sure to take care of any plants that are cold-sensitive and may be damaged by the frost developing overnight Monday and into early Tuesday. Lows start off in the lower and middle 30s inland and near 40 along our beaches. With bright, blue skies our highs will jump into the upper 50s and lower 60s by Tuesday afternoon.

This warm up is brief as another cold front sweeps through the region on Wednesday. Lows will start off in the upper 30s and while we'll warm into the lower 50s by lunchtime, a northwest breeze will pick up and temperatures will slowly cool throughout the day.

A Hard Freeze is likely by Thursday morning for inland areas with a freeze for locations east of the river. Temperatures don't look to rebound until the weekend. Rain chances stay near-zero as well.
