A 21-year-old woman died in a three-vehicle accident in Bradford County Friday night.
Around 11:20 p.m., the woman, identified as Lisamaray Marrero from Starke, Florida, was driving a 2004 Honda Accord north on US-301 south of CR-18. She crossed the median into the southbound lanes, causing the driver of a 2014 Toyota Corolla to crash into her, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
The driver of the third vehicle tried to swerve and miss Marrero, but crashed into the front of her car.
Marerro was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
The driver of the Corolla was seriously injured and transported to UF Health in Gainesville.
