JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Drivers looking to cross the St. Johns River in Downtown Jacksonville should seek an alternate route than the Main Street Bridge Monday afternoon.
The Florida Department of Transportation says the bridge is stuck because it is having issues with lowering and fully locking when it is lowered.
Bridge crews are on scene to fix the issue, according to FDOT. Traffic is blocked in both directions until the issue is fixed.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office crews are on scene directing traffic.
