JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Six people were taken to the hospital following a crash involving a JTA bus and a semi-truck, the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department reports.
According to officials, the accident happened near the intersection of Ellis and Broadway on the westside of town early Monday morning.
Officials said six people were transported to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Statement from JTA:
I can verify that Route 53 was involved in an incident with a semi at the intersection of Ellis and Broadway. The bus is driveable. The trailer of the semi hit the front of the bus. Six people have claimed injuries. JSO and JFRD on scene.
