JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two suspects were arrested Monday morning following a police chase that ended in a traffic crash in Jacksonville.
According to police, the chase began when an officer spotted a stolen vehicle out of St. Johns County, police say that stolen car stemmed from a carjacking.
Police attempted to pull that vehicle over but it fled down MLK Blvd, police report. During the chase, the officer swerved to miss a citizen in another vehicle, but the police vehicle struck a concrete barrier. The officer was taken to UF Health for observation, police report.
Two of the three suspects were eventually captured and arrested. Police are still looking for the third suspect, no suspect information is available.
