FDOT to soon work on Blanding Boulevard traffic signals

Starting August 20, work will begin on a project to complete traffic signal upgrades and other improvements along seven intersections on Blanding Boulevard.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Starting August 20, work will begin on a project to complete traffic signal upgrades and other improvements along seven intersections on Blanding Boulevard.

The new traffic signals will be at the following:

  • Du-Clay Road
  • Morse Avenue
  • 118th Street
  • 105th Street
  • Cedar Hills Boulevard/Confederate Point Road
  • San Juan Avenue
  • Shirley Avenue

The project costs $2.9 million and is expected to be completed spring of 2019.

Traffic and speed limits aren't expected to change. Most of the work will be from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
