Jacksonville motorcycle officer hurt in crash with non-life-threatening injuries

The crash left all northbound lanes and at least one southbound lane of Philips Highway closed for more than an hour as investigators were on the scene.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office motorcycle officer was hurt in a crash on Philips Highway/US-1 near J. Turner Butler Boulevard Thursday morning.

The officer's injuries are non-life-threatening, according to JSO.

The crash left all northbound lanes and at least one southbound lane of Philips Highway blocked for more than an hour while investigators were on the scene.
