The Jaguars made a pair of roster moves Saturday prior to their divisional-round clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The team promoted second-year linebacker Deon King from the practice squad and waived rookie wide receiver Montay Crockett.

King signed with the Jaguars' practice squad on Dec. 23. Prior to joining the franchise, King played nine games with the Cleveland Browns earlier this season.

King has appeared in 15 career games. He has also played for the Dallas Cowboys, the then-San Diego Chargers and the Indianapolis Colts.

Fellow linebacker Blair Brown suffered an ankle injury during practice Wednesday. While he was able to practice in a limited capacity on Friday, the team listed him as questionable entering the matchup against the Steelers.

King's elevation to the main roster could be a hint that Brown isn't ready to play on Sunday.

Crockett's departure from the roster won't have much impact on the team. He was elevated from the practice squad in December but never played in a game for the Jaguars.
