ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Leon Huey had two touchdowns to lead Jacksonville University Christian to a 24-8 win against Hialeah Champagnat Catholic in the Florida High School Class 2A football championship game.

Quarterback Clayton Boyd also scored a touchdown for University Christian (10-2), who won their second consecutive 2A championship on Friday.

Huey, who plays linebacker and running back, scored on a punt return and a fumble recovery to help the Fightin' Christians pull away in the second half. With the Fightin' Christians up 17-0, Champagnat quarterback Kervin Dessources lost the ball when he was sacked by University Christian defensive lineman James Sasser, and Huey picked up the loose ball and returned it 49 yards for a touchdown.

The Lions avoided the shutout when Dessources connected with Johnquai Lewis on a 13-yard touchdown with 35 seconds left.

Boyd threw for 96 yards and rushed for 57 yards, including a five-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Champagnat had minus-42 yards rushing.
