JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) explained his skepticism about a deal with North Korea just hours after the historic summit.
Rubio posting to Twitter about the North Korean leader, calling Kim Jong-un, "a total weirdo." The Senator who sits on the Foreign Relations Committee explained sanctions and increased pressure on the hermit nation led to Tuesday's meeting.
“I’m not very optimistic that Kim Jong-un is going to get rid of his weapons unless he thinks the reaction is going to be the end of his regime, but I hope I’m wrong because the alternative is a war that we would win and would represent the end of his leadership but could also represent the death of millions of people in a nuclear exchange," Sen. Rubio said.
