he Seminole State College Sanford Lake Mary campus was locked down Thursday morning due to nearby police activity.

The school posted on its Facebook page that all entrances to campus were blocked.

The campus is on Weldon Boulevard, near the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the lockdown is in response to a potentially suicidal man who made comments that he may harm himself. The man has not been located.

The sheriff's office said they are not sure if the man has a gun, but they decided to lockdown the Seminole State campus as a precaution.
