GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- A homeowner who supports Donald Trump was shocked to see several Nazi swastikas painted on his house, according to a report in the Gainesville Sun.

The symbols were painted on his garage door, walkway, and a campaign sign Tuesday night.

"I think it's some kids, in the neighborhood probably," Ronnie Sartain told the Sun of the vandals who painted a 5-foot high swastika on his garage door. Sartain was a physicist near Washington, D.C., before retiring and moving with his wife to Gainesville about five years ago to be closer to family.

Police had been alerted to political vandalism after another man reported that his truck and Trump sign had been painted with swastikas.
